KAR Construction will create anything from a single tile to an outdoor fireplace with a serving center. Our product line includes pre-cast counters for kitchen and bath, bar tops, tabletops, sinks, fireplace surrounds and mantels, indoor and outdoor furniture and customized architectural designs cast to suit individual projects. The products are entirely custom designed, handmade and crafted.

Countertops

Our standard reinforced counters are cast 1.5" thick with an eased top edge radius. Cantilevers and unsupported spans are possible depending upon the design as well as custom colors, shapes, curves and edges. (See the Color and Edging Sections to view available options). Each casting is custom designed and hand-formed, resulting in a unique product to meet your specifications and décor. Subtle variations in color and texture as well as surface and hairline cracking may occur and are a natural part of concrete. These imperfections do not affect the structural integrity, in fact, these inconsistent factors actually enhance the attractiveness and character of concrete. Hand finishing produces a beautiful patina that actually improves with age and use, requiring little maintenance. Countertops are reinforced and are sealed to resist water and staining.

Sinks

Square, rectangular, oval, round or barrel-shaped, each sink is custom-made to your design specifications. The bowl is designed with an overflow feature and accommodates a standard drain.

Furniture & Accessories

Concrete furniture can be used indoors or outdoors. Pieces are custom designed and are cast for structural integrity and weight consideration. All units are reinforced, finished, and sealed.

Fireplace surrounds, mantels, pedestals and other custom designs are available and made to order in various sizes, shapes, and colors.
